Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as it can affect the level of amlodipine in your blood and unpredictably increase the blood pressure-lowering effect
Do not stop or change your dose without medical advice, as your blood pressure may rise again if treatment is stopped without guidance
If you forget a dose, skip it completely and take your next dose at the usual time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Caution may be needed if you have, or have had:
Heart, liver, or kidney problems, including reduced blood supply to the kidneys
A recent heart attack, unstable blood pressure, or narrowing of the aortic heart valve
Significant fluid or salt loss (for example, from vomiting, diarrhoea, or long-term diuretic use)
High potassium levels shown on blood tests
A history of angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat) related to previous ACE inhibitor use
Amlodipine + Ramipril may interact with other blood pressure medicines (including ARBs and aliskiren), certain diuretics, potassium-sparing medicines, NSAIDs, lithium, some antibiotics and antifungals, and sacubitril/valsartan.
